I am currently a contract researcher in the Department of Computer Science in the University of Bristol. Previously, I was employed as a researcher at the Coding and Cryptography Group in University College Cork. Before this I was a student at Royal Holloway, University of London, where I was finishing my PhD. thesis on side channel and fault attacks on embedded devices. This work was supervised by Chris Mitchell and instigated by David Naccache. This work was also supported by Konstantinos Markantonakis and Keith Mayes of Royal Holloway's Smart Card Centre.

Between June 1998 and August 2005, I was employed by Gemplus Card International (recently changed to Gemalto after a merger with Axalto). The roles I had within Gemplus's Card Security Group were the following:
During the same period I attended the Msc. in Secure Electronic Commerce run by the Information Security Group at Royal Holloway, University of London on a part time basis between September 1999 and August 2001.
