My 39th Birthday
June 4, 2002
I woke up in the morning with a bunch of happiness.  Geee... 39 years old, how fast the days go by.  Oh... I love gifts from Michael.  Another surprise, Michael decided not to go to work, but took me everywhere I wanted to go.  How sweet, wasn't it?

I went to the backyard and side of the house to say hello to all my plants.  Beautiful day, sunny but cool air.  My red roses and blue boys were blooming, made me feel great.  Thanks to ya'll.

Then, Michael & I went for brunch at Rubin's Jewish Delicatessen at Brookline, the Boston suburb.  The food was good.  I had Orange Juice and New York Omellet, Michael had Coffee and Spanish Omellet.  The portions were too big, so I could't finish it.  I asked the waiter to pack it, because I wanted it for my b'fast the next day.  It's not nice if we throw away foods when there are so many people starving all over the world.
After that, we went to the Circle Cinemas to watch the movie called "Insomnia" (starring: Al Pacino, Robin Williams, and Hilary Swank) which was showing at 4:20 p.m.  Maybe because it was an afternoon movie, the audience was just about ten.  But the ticket for an afternoon movie is quite cheap.  The movie was great!!  It's a psychological thriller.
When the movie was over, we drove to the "Hilltop Steak House" for a dinner.  It took about 30 minutes to drive from the cinemas, but because their steak is so good, we didn't care about the distance.  We ate while talking, teasing to each other.  Michael is a very romantic person to me.  He likes to surprise me.  I'm happy being his wife.  I hope that dear GOD keeps blessing us with HIS kindness.  Amen.....

Thank you for a wonderful birthday today, Michael.  I love you...
After that, we took a walk  to the John Fitzgerald Kennedy (35th President of the US) National Historic Site.  He was born on May 29th, 1917 and spent his babyhood here.  I was standing beside this house in the pictures below.  Beside John, there were three of his siblings (1 brother and 2 sisters) born here.  They were Joseph (1915), Rosemary (1918), and Kathleen (1920).  The house looks really old, but is still in a good condition.  Now it is administered by the National Park Service, US Department of the Interior.  Unfortunately, they are open Wednesday to Sunday only, so we had no chance to go inside.  But we plan to be back sometime.

We stopped for an ice cream near by..hmm..yummy..  Sitting on a bench near a small park while watching children playing around, their parents chit-chat with others.  I could't help but laugh when I noticed that some of the children were looking at my ice cream with their mouths watering.  How innocent they are..
