Naneel Kolindon
Founder and Leader of the Midnight Rogues
              Master mind behind the crimes.
Shielded by the thick shroud of darkness, the slender androgynous figure skipped down the long length of the building's roof with skill and ease. A wraith in the night, this one acted while crouching low at her perch, listening keenly to the ramblings of the guards passing the slave quarters. Shrewd and cunning burgundy eyes kept watch over those two men, snickering to herself how they didn't suspect her high above them. 'What fools they are,' laughing inwardly before deeming all safe and leaping free from the roof to land deftly on the balls of her feet. Her stealth and agility bespoke of the elven blood pumping within her veins along with her defined features and sharp, tailored ears standing free from short cropped cinnamon-colored hair. Cautiously peeking around her shoulders only to smile at finding it deserted, the young half breed began to fish with the confines of her crushed-velveteen breeches for her pick locks.
'Soon friends.. soon.. No longer will you have to whore or break your backs for that sniveling fool that deems to be called 'Master',' she sneered at the title, remembering the repulsive man who made her dear mother call him that. How she missed her gentle and sweet mannered mother, but for now she forced those thoughts and memories in the dark recesses of her mind to concentrate on the job at hand.
Tonight, she worked alone while the rest of her band waited at the end of the compound to help the slaves to freedom. Freedom. That word held special meaning within her heart, knowing how hard her mother struggled to keep her two children safe from the taint of collars and chains. 'If only I could of saved you mother.. Morier's a fool,' sighing from the direction of her thoughts as she slipped the skeletal key into the lock and jiggled until she heard the soft click with a rueful smirk. 'There is no lock or collar out there that can escape the master-mind of Naneel.' Yes, she was bragging to herself with good reasons as she slipped into the looming darkness of the room, listening to the pitiful cries and moans of the people and humanoids within. "Worry nae meh friends," she whispered softly to the others, yet there was a hint of cockiness in her low melodic tones as she bowed low in the same manner as a courtly gentleman. "The Midnight Rogues are here to set yeh all free.. Freedom is at hand."
"The Midnight Rogues?" An older man gasped, eyeing the woman before him carefully. Every slave trader and owner knew about the Rogues, especially since their main targets were freeing mistreated slaves and helping them regain freedom. No one knew the members of this group or their sexes, but Eriad knew this one before him now was a woman by the soft indentations and the inky-black leather bodice she wore beneath a midnight blue silken cavalier shirt. Her breeches were a deep purple-wine color that formed her long, limber legs. To finish the theif's ensemble, an moon-shaped rapier rested against her hip beneath her midnight blue cape. "You hear to set us free?" Hopeful, it had been hell living and working for his current owner and the whip marks criss-crossing his back was the testimony. Besides, his younger virginal daughter caught her master's eyes.
Flashing the man a pure felinish grin, almond eyes glinting with her mischievous behavior as she went straight to work on his collar. "Yeh damn straight I am..," winking towards the rest. In her odd, eccentric way, Naneel was an attractive woman, but the half elf only used her sex appeal when needed. "Meh band is waitin' fer yeh at the north end.. Weh beh makin' sure yeh beh rightly settled.."
A soft chorus of "thank you's" echoed throughout the small, cramped room by the other's waiting for the theif leader to release them from the bonds..and to freedom's embrace.
The daughter of the slave woman Caethes Kolindon and an elf named Bearach Duinsul. She was raised beneath her mother's master Meical Berchelai along side her half brother Morier.
