What's done and what parts already got
Engine:
Mocal Oil take off so you can fit remote oil filter (remote filter base included too)
Mallery dual point distributer (Brand spanking new ££££)
Recon Alternator and brackets for mounting on left or right side of engine
Modified Rover inlet to accomodate Clive Whetaley BV8 manifold
An assortment of carbs some brand new (at least 4 complete)
Exhaust manifolds to fit (One needs a stud removing)
TR8 radiator
Heavily lightened LR flywheel
Brand new starter
Engine "supposedly" did Santapod in sub 11 secs but I'm only taking POs info on this. Engine was build by Martin Cowel (Mighty midget)
Isky TR8 works cam and antipump lifters
SD1 standard heads ( Sorry the decent ones were needed by PO)
Body:
Modified front slam panel to take radiator and with extra ducting
New doors and all window mechs (in boxes) - SS and chrome quarterlights (choice)
Completely rebuilt shell modded to take V8 - interior, engine bay and underneath painted black tulip
Steel wings (these are a bit tatty to be honest) F/G wings (again a bit tatty)
Fibresports top with lipped tail (very nice this) complete with clips and lining all in good nick)
Ashley front (missing plexiglass light covers but you can make these - also needs work to finish)
Brand new vinyl roof (and old one too)
Transmission:
LT77 gearbox and brand new clutch (all fitted)
Assortment of slave cylinders to fit
Bespoke prop with CV joints
TR7/8 rear axle shortened with TR7 brakes (all new and complete)
Suspension
Brand new Frontline front kit with adjustable AVO shocks. New spring pans and 400lb springs. Basically everything is new here.
Rear racing springs (fitted)- These are very low and you'll probably want to change these for the road. Std springs included) Spax rear kit (new)
New minilites (Triumph rear/Midget front) 5.5x13's
Tyres on but old - also inc 4 x part work yoko advan 032R's
Adaptors to take metro 4 pots and 10.5" disks (included) -= Everything's here except the 4 pots as I need them for my new "potential" mini project.
Misc:
Brand new carpet set
Brand new instruments + Stag V8 rev counter that fits (there's another Smiths racing one that's a bit small)
New indicators (front and back)
New halogen headlights (tho I may steal these for mini again)
Boxes and boxes of spare parts (tons and tons so bring a trailer)
So what's still to do??????
To be honest - tons (which is why I'm selling. 95% has been done but there are so many hours in it 5% still is a lot)
Weld a rear wing on
Prep and paint - there's a load of work here!
Extend loom to reach V8 ancilliaries
Steering is all in place but I've made a new bracing bracket that will need fitting. The old one was just a jig. Steering lock and ignition barrel needs fitting.
Fit interior (you need another seat)
Fit soft top if you want to
Engine has never been run in it's current form although it's turned over regularly to stop it seizing
Rad needs all plumbing done - You'll probably need some more hoses to do this
Locate some Metro 4 pots (about £40 off ebay)
One of my spacers for the 10.5" disks needs the stud holes drilling out .5mm. The other one is perfect
All brake lines need to go in (I've miles of pipe)
It's got recon master cylinders so should be OK
Clutch action needs sorting - I think the pushrod on the slave needs extending 1"
There's no linkages for the carbs yet. CliveWheatley makes them but I was going to fab something up
Need to buy a fan for the rad to fit in the front

the PO was a materials lecturer at University and he used some of the kit at the uni to fab stuff. It seems to be very good. He's done the bulk of the work on this car. It's a shame I've let him down and am passing it on. The buyer must finish this!!!!
