Who We Are
The Joseph Fox Bookshop is a general, independent bookshop in downtown
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. Established in 1951, we sell new books only and
have a reputation for knowledgeable, personal service. We specialize in
literature, serious non-fiction, art, architecture, as well as music,
poetry, and books for children of all ages. This is
reflected in the many authors we sponsor for lectures and book-signings.
Signed Books
Each year we are associated with as the bookseller, or directly sponsor over one
hundred major author appearances in Philadelphia. After these events, we usually
have signed books to offer for sale, both frontlist and backlist, very often
first editions. A signed book from a favorite author can make a book more
"special." Many titles from past events are still available for purchase and we invite you to watch us as we add to our list.
