Wenyuan (William) Chen

Hello! I am an expert in dynamics and control, acoustics and vibration, industrial automation. As Isaac Asimov said, science can amuse and fascinate us all, but it is engineering that changes the world. For this reason, I have been in engineering field over 14 years. I am still enjoying my life as an engineer. I obtained my bachelor and master degrees in Mechanical Manufacturing and Automation from Zhejiang University in 1996 and 1999, respectively. From August 1999 to February 2004, I pursued my Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering under Professor Pierre E. Dupont in Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering of Boston University. In May 2004, I was awarded a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at Boston University. My major research areas were dynamics and control, acoustics and vibration.
