Lakewood, Tennessee is a little city of the outskirts of Nashville on Old Hickory Blvd. If you are coming from I-40 and are wanting to get to Rivergate, this is the logical way you would go. However, this city has a secret that everyone that lives near or has driven through this city probably knows. This is the last holdup place of the nazis. The police department (SS) is the enforcement group for this fascist regime.

I was driving through this city about 2 years ago now. I was going 20 in a 15 mpg speed zone (more like a speed trap), at 5 minutes until 9 AM. This speed zone was for a school that was nowhere to be seen. Now, I had heard the rumors about this place so I was watching my speed. Some guy on the side motions to me. I did not know who he was so I kept driving. Next thing I know here comes a speeding police car with a very angry cop. Needless to say he was driving more reckless than I was.

So, I get this speeding ticket on the way to an interview. Oh, did I mention there were no children or school buses present. Anyway, he says I'm going 24 in a 15. I denied that, but of course he has "the radar." So, I don't have the time or the money to argue and pay possibly thousands of dollars in court to fight this. I decide to go traffic school. Did I mention that the ticket was $185???

I go to traffic school and it was a friggin' nightmare. There were people in there pulled over for driving the speed limit. One mile over and you were getting a ticket. I kid you not!!! If you think this is funny or some kind of joke, it is not. If you don't believe me, drive the speed limit or just a little bit over. You will get pulled over and receive a ticket. Oh, by the way, $85 for traffic school. First offense. No joke!

Now, I will not even go through this town! I will not fund their evil means! I warn you and insist you do not contribute to their hefty funds. They told me their limit was 50 in the class. Multiply 50 times $85 and that equals $4200. They do this 2 times a month and this would equal about $8500. Ok, there were more like 75 people in this class. So, lets round up to $10,000/month. This would equal $120,000/year. Now, remember this is only for those people that can go to driving school. Therefore, with everything else I bet you they are hauling in somewhere between $600,000 to $1 million per year. ...for speeding tickets!!! That's nuts!!! Do not drive through this town. Avoid it at all costs. Consider yourself warned!!!
