September. We signed up with her I think the end of April and were
matched in July. Betty was very helpful and we spoke to
her more often probably then our agency before the birth, she gave us a
lot of support. I would highly recommend signing up with her.

I cannot express the abundance of emotions I am feeling as I am writing this letter to you. Our Emani is beautiful, smart, bright and the absolute love of our lives. She has changed our lives in the best possible way imaginable. We cannot wait for our workday to end to see what she will do next. She is only three months old and she is almost turning over, she can sit up with little support from us, and when we grab her little hands when she is lying on her back, she pulls her own self up! She is amazing.
After I suffered with multiple miscarriages, I felt I would never know what it would be like to love a child. Well, thanks to you, she is here and there isnt a person or place on this earth I could ever love more. It is amazing the profound affect a child makes on your life. I cant even remember life before she came. All of the sadness and pain went away when I held her for the first time.
I had registered with a few adoption agencies before I came across your web site back in April of 2007. Counselors were quick to tell me I would be placed quickly but I never heard from them. Some have not called me regarding a situation until this day. I often called and had to leave messages in voice mailboxes and never received a return call. God was truly smiling on me when I came across your web site. From the very beginning, you took the time to speak with me a length, share you own adoption experiences and explain the do's and dont's of adoption. I registered with you in May and had our beautiful daughter placed in our arms in August. It would have happened even quicker had we not been gender specific. There were multiple opportunities that you made available to us. You were vigilent about keeping us informed or just checking in to see how we were doing. You were so amazing, I could not have gotten through the proces s without you.There were many days I would just cry to you on the phone and you would say to me, "God has a special baby just for you and it will happen very soon". Well, she was meant just for us. We adore her and our families cannot get enough of her, they fight over who will babysit her. You are truly an angel sent from God and every agency should have a Betty Smith. What I loved most about working with you is that you were always 100% honest, no matter what the situation and you were never out to "hurry and match to get a fee" which so many referral services do.
The agency you referred us to in FL was superb. The president of the company was there to meet us at the hospital when we meant our birth mother. Her husband and assistant came along as well and held our hands the entire way. They personally drove us to our hotel and made sure we were settled to await ICPC and had us on the way home in six days. They were wonderful and exremely courteous. You obviously only refer your clients to the best!
All I can say is, our experience with you was prestine and I would recommend anyone who is serious about adopting a child to your Service, All I could say to your prospective adoptive couples is "be ready to take your baby home real soon". Thank you Betty for your tireless efforts and to those coples who are contemplating registering with large facilitators or agencies, be careful and speak with Betty at a Little Bit of Heaven Adoptions before you move forward!
