She dreams of the days,
When she was so young.
She was always dancing,
Something she really loved.
People said she would
Become a star on the stage.
Everyone for her dancing
Had nothing but praise.
However one day long ago,
She met her life’s love.
Her thoughts turned only
To this man she soon wed.
She changed her dreams,
And her life took a different turn.
She no longer had time for dance,
But for it her love never changed.
Her many years with her love,
Has been always happy ones.
She has no regrets about that
Decision she made long ago.
There had been many times,
She went dancing with her love.
However her home and family,
Were what she was dreaming of.
Now after these many years,
She has returned to the dance.
She teaches young girls her skills,
Dreaming maybe one will be a star.
Her great love for the dance and,
Her talent she is now sharing.
As she makes their dreams
Her dreams and give her love too.
She has learned through the years
When our dreams life may change,
Can become a positive experience
As we learn to love many things.
