Some may call me a dreamer,
This fact I can not deny.
For seeing this world as I wish it,
Is the dreams on which I rely.

Why should I look at the ugliness,
When there is beauty to behold?
I’d rather see the purity of newborns,
As their tiny bodies unfold.

I welcome those who give love,
To have a special place in my life.
While I just pity those full of hate,
They are doomed to live in strife.

As long as there is one good thing,
My eyes can look around and see.
I will continue to be this dreamer,
That is deep in the heart of me.

For I know that one glorious day,
My eyes shall see my Lord’s face.
Then all my dreams will come true,
With Him in that Heavenly place.
