My name is Mark Engle and I live and work in Show Low, Arizona.  Show Low is in the beautiful White Mountains, near lakes, skiing and in the middle of the largest Ponderosa forest west of the Mississippi.  We are surrounded by Navajo and Hopi reservations to the north, and the Apache to the south.  I am the Director of the Small Business Development Center for Northland Pioneer College.  Our program is cosponsored by the U.S. Small Business Administration, and we provide assistance to small businesses in writing business plans, doing feasibility analysis, assisting with financing; in short, anything to help them be successful in their business.  For more information feel free to visit our web site, www.npcsbdc.com. 

I have been doing this since 1994, and organize and teach entrepreneurship topics to adult learners.  I have been working on my first web based course, which is called "Building Your Winning
Business in Northeast Arizona."

Previously I owned and operated a Grade A Goat Dairy, supplying fresh goat milk to health food stores
throughout Arizona.  We operated this business for seven years, raising two sons along the way, who are now living in Phoenix and San Francisco.  The threat of continuing in the dairy business was a strong motivator for them to make something of themselves.  Prior to the dairy I was a "business banker" with Security Pacific Bank in California for sixteen years, and retired when they merged with Bank of America.

I love the outdoors, horseback riding, fishing, golf, and working on our 20 acre ranch.
