Joe Waller is doing Magic: The Gathering sealed deck draft tournies over the week. Watch your email for info from him. His email address is joewaller61 @ hotmail . com and his phone number is 429-6336. Contact him if you're interested in CCG's at various times during the week. I don't think he has nailed down a regular time yet, so get to him if a particular day is better for you. If you would like to be added to the email list, email me or him. Joe does get several hundred emails a day, though, so on second thought, email me. I love to get email *grin*.

I've taken down the boffer fighting pictures linked to earlier, because all the traffic kept crashing the page. They'll be back later, in another incarnation, however. And I'm taking new pictures this semester, including a few of our other activites. They'll be up here sooner or later, as soon as I get around to cropping, resizing, and generally improving them.

Stay tuned.

Vampire went well, we saw a couple new people. We're hoping that more people will be showing up next weekend when we start in our room in the SU. This year's chronicle revolves around the city of New Orleans and the three sects that have uneasily divided up the cities between them (Camarilla, Sabbat, and Anarch). We are using 3rd edition rules, with only a few minor changes pertaining to Fortitude and Influence. It's kind of complicated, so I'll leave it to Ken to explain it in person next week.

Hope to see everyone there next week, as well as this Sunday.

Currently, we have Vampire on Friday nights in SU 382, starting at 7:00. However, our room reservation does not start until next week (Friday, Sept 6). So, we will be having a get together for people who are intersted in Vampire and/or other White Wolf games on this Friday night at 7:00 in the library. We will be meeting in and around the Bookworms Cafe area.

We will be having general Gamer's Guild board games and stuff on Sunday in SU 242, from 12:30 to 6:00.

We will be looking to do some boffer fighting somewhere around campus, but we will probably have to do some repair work to the weapons first, to make them safe again. Or at least, to minimize hospital visits. You can check out some boffer fighting pics from last year right here. The only thing is, you can't really see all the pics in one session, because Geocities is crappy and cuts off the website if too much data is downloaded within a certain time period, and the pics are kinda big.

I'm still working on setting up M:tG. Anyone who would like to play a pick up game with their silly decks is welcome to come on Sunday.

Briana is planning on running an Aberrant game this semester, but is still working on the times. Aberrant is a While Wolf game involving super-heros, intrigue, and fun. If you are interested, you can contact her at starflowermlp @ hotmail.com.

The Gamer's Guild has two boxes worth of Warhammer 40K figures, along with paint and brushes to paint them. This way, people who could not otherwise afford to play can try their hand in. We also have a good amount of Mage Knight figures. If I recall correctly, it is supposed to be enough for two people to field decent armies, and more could split it up into smaller skirmishes.

As we go further into the semester, I will be putting up more info about each activity and who's playing what. Usually, organizational stuff that has to be done will happen on Sundays. If you have any questions or suggestions, tell me! I'm gonna see about getting a free forum-type-thing for us. That is all.
