The SMR (State Mobile Radio) Network is used mainly by Victoria Police (mainly specialist units like TMU & Canine Units) Speed Camera Operators, Vicroads, CFA, DNRE, Parks Vic, Sherrifs Office.It is also used by water & power companys. The SMR Network can also be used to make phone calls (phone calls are limited to 3 minutes)
