Nintendo Gamecube

The Nintendo Gamecube is the most powerful Nintendo system released around the world. It may be a small box, but it is an amazing gaming machine!

The Cube

The part that puts the cube in Gamecube is..... uh, the cube. No, it's not a perfect cube, but it's good enough. I mean, who would want a Nintendo Rectangular Prism?

The Controller

The Nintendo Gamecube controller is like the shape of an SNES controller, but a little more 3-D. It is a good size, so you don't need giant hands to hold it (like an X-Box controller). If you were to stand it up, then it would be as tall as the Gamecube. Like you even care.

This controller has eight buttons, two control sticks, and a directional pad. That's eleven ways to control the game! The eight buttons are A, B, X, Y, L, R, Z, and Start. A, B, X, and Y are right where your right thumb wants to go. L is under your left index finger, while R and Z are under your right index finger. Start is in the center of the control. Then you have a Control Stick and a C Stick. The Control Stick is the most important way of moving your character or whatever. It's just like the one for the N64. The C Stick is like the four C buttons on an N64 control, but can move in eight directions. Finally, the D Pad. It's just like the ones on the NES and SNES. It isn't used very often, though.

The coolest controller for the Gamecube yet is the WaveBird; it's wireless! You can be playing in your room when you're 10 feet away from the t.v.! Awesome!
