Cycle Of Hate
A man of words once said
"If you want peace, prepare for war,"
So each side cries over their dead,
And each generation keeps the score.
How can we stop this cycle of hate?
To bring true peace to our planet,
Before for all it is too late,
And we eternally condemn and damn it.
Through love and understanding I say,
And religion teaches us these things,
It is man that twists it the other way,
And to all humanity sorrow brings.
The true message of religion is love,
To care about others and not to hate,
A lesson for all from up high above,
That we should learn before it is too late.
