Friends and Neighbours,
Running for public office is a commitment I do not take lightly.
I truly believe that I've got what it takes to make a positive
impact on the City of Spruce Grove.
The people of Spruce Grove need leaders who will work as a team
to move the city forward. I will proudly serve the citizens and
bring innovation and ingenuity to the table. My only goal is to
make Spruce Grove a great community for current residents and a
community of choice for those moving to our area.
We must be willing to open our eyes to the
opportunities around us. Spruce Grove is experiencing the fruits
of the Alberta Advantage. The industrial and commercial growth
we are experiencing is a vote of confidence for Spruce Grove.
Therefore, it will fall to the council you
elect this year to set the proper foundation for business to
exercise this confidence. Council must be forward thinking with
a purpose in mind to shape the development for the betterment
for all the residents. This will take a dedicated team of
professional managers who plan the growth of your city and know
what they wish to accomplish. They must be willing to dream of
what is possible and yet stand firm when necessary.
When we work together great things can be
accomplished. We must let our imagination free to build the
greatest community possible.
I will be a POSITIVE voice for growth and
development in our city. However, I am not afraid to stand up to
powerful influences that are not in our best interests.
