I am sort of a Enviromental Activitiest. Although I don't consider myself a radical or anything. I've never been able to understand how people can trash the enviroment the way they do. I've been known to just stop to clean up a section of road or beach that I decide is just too trashed out. I need your help. If you can't pick it up, please don't throw it out. It's more that one person can handle.

Now really I'm just a regular guy, and I would like to thank Yahoo GeoCities for allowing me this space to rant a little in. I have developed an enviromental awareness as I spent many enjoyable days in the Central American Rainforest. I have trekked through several Rainforest Environments, from the Yucatan and Puerto Rico, to the US Northwest. This last year I visited the Mountains and Forest around Monterrey, Mexico and while it may not be strictly speaking, a Rainforest, it is still a beautiful place.

I have made friends with groups of wild dolphins along the coast. Did you know that it is Illegal to interact with wild dolphins in the U.S. another stupid law. One Dumb Person messes up and everybody gets penalized. Do you think that is right?

I worked at Seaworld in San Antonio, Texas for 13 years and during that time I had had many wonderful opportunities to meet with the Marine Wildlife that are maintained at the park. I was always very pleased with the quality of care that the various species received. I really feel that the Orca (one is pictured above) are very happy. The Dolphins are not underfed, they like to get the little fishes from people. I think that they do miss all the attention during the off season though. I really loved that job. Where else can you see a whale being born, while you're at work? I even had the chance to bottle feed a baby dolphin, that was saved after it became stranded on the beach.

I feel that Seaworld's Management completely supports Anheuser-Busch's "A Pledge, A Promise" environmental policy. Of course I always did every thing that I could to operate in an environmentally sensitive way. Recycling is a way of life, sorting bins and special dumpsters. I even had a key for the cardboard bailer.
