I set up my first homepage some time in 1994. It didn't look that different than this. Back then, a homepage was basically a list of links. Today, with all the different Internet "presences" we have, this homepage is still mainly a list of links. But instead of links to random websites I think are cool, it contains links to all the various social networking, photo sharing, etc. websites I have accounts on as well as a few of my writings that aren't available elsewhere online.

Current stuff
- I just completed law school and am looking for work as a policy researcher/analyst in the areas of telecommunications, media, and/or copyright. I live in the Washington, DC area. Here's my resume. I have a number of writing samples below.
- I also maintain the websites for IP Justice and Distributed Computing Industry Association
Quick educational and work history
- I recently completed law school at Santa Clara University. Quick aside: Why do organizations see Wikipedia as just another place to advertise? I created a page for the law school on Wikipedia before one existed. I added information I thought would be helpful to new law students (see original version here). Then I go and check on it a few months later and find that the school has removed everything I did and put basically the same content that's on the school's own website. Maybe they didn't like the fact that I had links to photos from parties at which drinking was involved.
- During the summer of 2006, I attended in George Washington University's Munich Intellectual Property Law Summer Program
- I received a MA in Communications, Culture & Technology from Georgetown University in 2003
- I received a BA in English from the University of Florida in 1997
- During my first summer at law school I was an intern for Commissioner Susan Kennedy at the California Public Utilities Commission in San Francisco. Susan is now Chief of Staff for Governor Schwarzenegger.
- Before starting at SCU, I worked as a technical writer on the CDC's NHANES project
- During the summer of 2002, I spent 6 weeks in the Bahamas as a volunteer for the OAS STEP program. Ironically, there isn't much info about the program on the Web, but basically the program trades room and board for computer training.
- Before starting at Georgetown, I spent 4 years at Citrix as a technical writer
