Welcome to the Homepage of Amateur Radio Station W4WDA, which also does
triple duty as the family page of Mike And Linda Coleman, and of our daughter and
son in law, Brooke and Scott Beeson. In the photos above, that's Brooke on the
left, Linda on the right, and the ugly fellow in the center is W4WDA. You will find a
photo of Scott on the family page.
Linda and I reside at 6456 Horsepasture Price Road, which is actually on the
"fringes" of Horsepasture but very close to Price, NC, thus the name Horsepasture
Price Rd. We are about 5 1/2 miles south of Ridgeway VA, and about 5 miles north
of Stoneville, NC, which puts us within a hundred feet or so of the VA/NC state line.
For those of you that do APRS or GPS, we are at Latitude 36.32.65N, Longitude
079.55.60W. , and at an elevation of 1035 feet. Scott and Brooke reside 5 miles
south within the small town of Stoneville, so they are close by.
If we have just worked and you found your way here via QRZ, I am always happy
to QSL direct, SASE appreciated but not necassary. I also use The Fists Bureau,
ARRL Bureau, and LOTW, though I only upload 2 or 3 times a year. I can be
reached via email by using my call @ARRL.NET.
My amateur radio interests are primarily CW and DXing, but I also work some
RTTY, PSK, and play around with packet, APRS, and a few other modes. I also
enjoy working SSB on 6 meters when the band opens up.
This is my first attempt at creating a webpage, it is definitely and perpetually
" Under Construction" and a work in progress. I work on it as time permits.
