McLaren Park Training

Saturday, June 22, 2002

Discover San Francisco's 2nd largest urban park! McLaren park offers a nice mix of rolling hills, meadows, woods, and creature features. A 4.7km, 9 control Orange level course is offered.

The map is a 6 color, unmodified USGS Topo Quad, blown up to 1:10000 from 1:24000, with 25 foot contours. Only mapped features are used as control sites. The course and clue sheet will be printed on the map.

Start/finish is by the skate park at the end of the parking lot of the Crocker-Amazon playing fields on Geneva Ave. Starts are available from 10:00am to 11:00am. Bring $1 to cover event costs.
