When I'm not working or doing something
for school, I am probably playing music. My ultimate hobby is playing and
writing music. I just recently learned how to play the guitar, and now I'm
ready to be in a band. I know that is everyone's dream, but music is my passion.
I can sit down for hours upon hours with a guitar in my lap. |

In case you haven't
noticed, I am a music freak. I love live music. And now, I have the opportunity
to put on shows. Not only will that generate revenue, but I will love doing
it. Over Mardi Gras, we had Steve Kerin, who plays the keyboard and sings.
He actually teaches a piano class at ULL. He put on a really good show, singing
everything from Snoop Dogg to Elton John. On Thursday's, Mark, a guy that
Shane graduated with, and Mark's brother, Paul, will do an acoustic show.
They are going to play all cover songs, which is what most people want to
hear. Also, another friend of ours that goes to LSU has a band that they recently
started. They have a good following in Baton Rouge, and they said they would
come play for us. I am really excited about all future shows. Please come
check out the performances, which will be on Thursday's and Saturday's. |
