Towards the end of this year the Sisters of St Joseph of Annecy will finally leave Scotland after 100 years in this country. As all Blairentians know, the Sisters came over to Scotland to work in the college and we all owe them a great debt of gratitude for the work they did over so many years - washing socks, making meals, mending, cleaning etc. Fr Grant of St Patrick's, Mossend, their parish priest, has arranged a Mass at 7.00pm on 28th August in Holy Family, Bellshill, with Cardinal O'Brien as celebrant. Everyone who has had any connection with the sisters over the years is invited to attend.
