My Reviews
The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
Tis been a while since I've written a review but I had to cuz this movie was wonderful. Again, I am not a professional reviewer, I don't entend to be or sound that way. I am merely some chick who saw some good movies, likes some celebs and has a fan site about them...all of them. So here's my opinion:
shots that are just extravagant. The whole time I was thinking about all the people that spent hours of every day for years to make this movie. From the costumes to scenery...all the delicate details nobody would ever notice, but would if they weren't there. And the make up...oh the make up. What gruesome hell did the artists and actors have to go through to pull that off. Yes, when I watch truly spectacular movies...I think of all the hard work and sleepless nights...and in this picture it was definatley obvious that these people knew what they were doing.
The story is wonderfully picked up where it left off in The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, not leaving your memory too fuzzy, it helps you right out. The story is very very nice...especially with the comic reliefs of characters Gollum and Gimli (with the help of Orlando Bloom). The story follows Frodo and his faithful friend Sam on their journey to Mordor to destroy the Ring, while they pick up a third party and confront many perils on their way. Aragon, Gimli, and Legolas help to save a kingdom, and fight against Saruman's vast and vicious army. All actors deliver incredible and completely believable performances, which should be recognized. Elijah Wood as Frodo is wonderful as Frodo struggles with the power of the Ring and the troubles of the journey, as well as Sean Astin adding soft-hearted hope as Sam encourages his friend. Viggo Mortenson's Aragagon, Orlando Bloom's Legolas, and John Rhys-Davies' Gimli are the perfect team--never giving up on each other or the fight, which they fulfill fearlessly. There is nothing to say about Ian McKellen as Gandalf the White because he is, as always, merely excellent. Though Christopher Lee's Saruman was actaully not present a great deal, he also delivered a satisfactory perfomance.

The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers is definately...amazing. Everything, everywhere is enticing and exciting. I can't tell you how much enjoyment I got out of this experience (well my butt will tell you different, it's still recuperating). Yes, this is 2 hours and 59 minutes of a great movie. I don't have to tell you about the excellent direction that very talented Mr. Peter Jackson provides, as well as the extraordinary 600+ special effects
Everyone who so much as lifted a finger to help make this film deserves incredible credit. It is a wonderful movie, unbearably pleasant to look at, and it is my opinion that you should go blow your money on it. (Go! right now! What are you doing here?)
