As Elle MacPherson, Morgan Freeman and Whoopi Goldberg looked on, former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell stood side by side with...Geri Halliwell.

All of them -- except for the extra Halliwell -- were made of wax, PEOPLE reports from the original Madame Tussaud's wax museum in London.

"Oh my God," Halliwell, 30, gasped as she inspected her likeness. "That's so weird."

At one point, the genuine Halliwell who had found success in her native Britain after leaving the Spice Girls (even though hers is no longer a name that glides quickly off American lips), let her hand wander down and grasp the sculpture's right breast.

"She's prettier than I am," Halliwell quipped for reporters.

The was Halliwell (which, like the real one, sports a permanent tan) wears a floor-length black Donna Karan dress with a deep slit down the left side and a pair of sparkling gold shoes with three-and-a-half inch heels.

"Can the world cope with two of me?" she said. "I don't know."

As for the accuracy of the likeness, Diane Moon, a publicist for Tussaud's, informs PEOPLE that the museum's artisans had been told that Halliwell planned to erase all of her notorious tattoos, so the the museum dutifully complied by painting over the wax Geri's body art.

Overall, Moon called Halliwell "very easy to work with, very helpful."
