Arizona Department of Public Safety
Highway Patrol Bureau - Winslow, Arizona
In 1989, I attended the Arizona Law Enforcement Training Academy in Tucson, Arizona.  I have been assigned to the Highway Patrol since 1990 and have worked many areas throughout the state.  I patrol areas of Navajo and Coconino Counties in Northern Arizona.  Along with patrol duties, I am a collision investigator, DRE (drug recognition expert) instructor, and certified in the use of less than leathal and chemical munitions.  I am presently assigned to the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Bureau where I spend most of my time enforcing Federal Motor Carrier Regulations, inspecting school buses and tow trucks in the area.  For more information about the motor carrier unit click here.

Many people see police officers as uncaring monsters and with some of the bad publicity, it is no wonder some people don't trust us.  I would like to dispell some of the ideas by showing you a little of what I do and see at work.  I enjoy my job and serving the public.  I hope you like what you see.

Pictures from my, 1998, Christmas Eve crash!!
Seat belts and air bags do save lives!!  Without them, I probably would not have walked away from this one, let alone, get treated and released that night.  This patrol car overturned three times..
