ARTHUR McARTHUR TELLS IT HOW IT IS
Arthur McArthur is a political analyst, freelance writer and sometimes poet.
Arthur
(pictured right) has recently made regular contributions to the blog of Andrew Bolt, mainly based on his observations of Kevin Rudd and the Labor Party.
Arthur has created this website to catalogue some of his poems and stories and he thanks you for taking an interest in his observations.

Kevin does “whatever it takes”
He and Swan, a couple of fakes.
Lining us all for one almighty fall,
“When we get in we’ll change it all”.

Untruths galore, every word a lie,
From conservative to socialist in the blink of an eye,
Labor Party incompetence is the norm,
Rudd makes ineptitude an art form.

A millionaire wife, a man of contradiction,
Every word and act a work of fiction,
Take our money, spend with abandon,
Destroy our society, last man standin’.

Who voted for Rudd? Who is this man?
Narcissistic to the core, but he has ‘a plan’?!
‘Trust me’ he says, ‘All will be well’
In truth this dangerous egomaniac is taking us to hell.

I’m the PM I’ll do what I like
Any dissenters can go ride a bike
No modeling, no forecasts, just a bloody big debt
This one’ll make Malcolm break into a sweat

I know what I’m doing, I won’t be trapped
Politics 101, the voters will be rapt
Just throw money at them, they’ll squeal with glee
I’m so bloody clever, look at me!

Debt? Don’t worry? Defecits are fine,
Keating’s black hole will be less than half of mine
I’ll leave a legacy that’d make even Gough squirm
$200B debt, after just one term!

I’ll look all glum and do a public announcement
Then smile and wink as I make my pronouncement
That everyone gets handouts, money thrown at their feet,
Whilst in 30 years their grandkids can’t afford to eat

The Libs will correctly point out it’s way too much
But I’ll just keep saying they’re out of touch
Once the punters get their cash, there won’t be a yelp
I’m Kevin Rudd and I’m here to help…..myself
