Brain memory loss literacy illiteracy . The 200 words which are three quarters of all words we use

start the list are seen below. Remember these words eventually [but not just now], are to be put in groups of five for literacy illiteracy memory.

Check out now WHY you can remember only five items like five words in Short Term memory STM Take a look Check five ITEMS only for memory loss recall illiteracy now Check it out now CLIKK here

This involves The magic seven memory loss span from Purdue Universirty This memory span and its loss or short term memory and its loss says we find it hard to remember anything beyond seven items and really its difficult beyond five From numbers, words to presidents and even different coloured flashes, memory loss or decay occurs quickly in all persons of all ages Its the keeping fresh or practicing to keep the STM or Short term memory working that is important no matter the fact that we eventually loose these memories out of short term memory.

These most used words are mixed in with words we do not use so much to make our groups of five. This memory span memory loss idea applies to your spelling test at school or your tennis score or your memory at an older age. This memory is stored in DNA protein says Heidelberg University and is to do with areas of the brain like the hippocampus . This all does not settle down until you reach about thirty years of age . Because before then the brain is using different regions to process eg words or numbers These changing areas of where words and numbers are processed only settle down into set regions of the brain after thirty years of age. This is one of the discoveries of this century and can be seen on fMRI Brain Image. Take a look at your brain under a scan nowLook look at brain picture as scanned now clikky now Clikk

These other "less used words" are words of similar sound or difficulty.
So we are seen to be taking one or more of the words from the "most used words list" [[below]] and placing these word(s) with less popular or simply "not used as much words" to achieve a single column of five words
As we make each group of five we make the top or words above easier than the next word or word below, or to put it another way we put the simplest word on top and more difficult words below. When we get to he fifth word we start a new column of five next to the last column. We make four or five groups [columns] across the page [see these letters of the alphabet contained in the word you want to spell actually at work LIVE in the brain: CLICK TO MY HOMEPAGE NOW TO SEE THE LIVE BRAIN PICTURES OF MEMORY AT WORK AS YOU SPELL CHECK . DONT BE AT A LOSS. THERES MORE -
Sometimes we repeat similar easy words or throw in an odd more difficult word
The next group of five should be different AND/OR be more difficult than the group of five words you have just put in the original or preceding column [one under the other]. [[This is where world renowned educationalist Fred Schonnell was succesful in beating illiteracy. He improved literacy and memory by this method (of course sentence construction in its simplest form now starts also, but not here for the time being)[memory loss literacy illiteracy defeated ]]

The words that make up about a half to three quarters of all we write are listed below. This list of course will vary slightly in different places, even city to city.

"........

Humans are miraculously good at recognizing visual patterns. Even the fastest of modern computers are nowhere near as efficient or thorough at identifying visual targets. How we acquired this level of sophistication is not fully understood. What is clear is that context plays an important role in interpreting a physical stimulus. We are not simply detectors of patterns of light; instead we infere interpretations of the physical stimulus.

The effect of context is made clear in a phenomenon called the word superiority effect (Reicher, 1969). In the experiment an isolated letter like K or a word like WORK is briefly flashed on a screen and then immediately replaced by a mask of X's and O's. The observer is then forced to choose between whether a D or a K was presented. A key component of the experiment is that either of the choices at the end of WOR would create a valid word. Thus, the observer's knowledge that the presentation contained a word does not automatically tell him which letter was presented.

Even with this control, the experimental finding is that detection of K is better when it is part of a word than when it is presented in isolation. This is the word superiority effect.

This result seems paradoxical. In detecting an isolated letter, there is only one item to focus on. When a word is presented, more letters must be processed before the word can be detected. Thus, it would seem, detecting a letter in a word should be more difficult than detecting a letter in isolation. However, the data demonstrate exactly the opposite effect.

This finding has been of significant interest to researchers that explore the processes involved in recognizing patterns. While the word superiority effect has been a motivating result for a variety of theories, the effect has not been explained completely by any current theory. This demonstration allows you to participate in a version of the word superiority experiment. "

[[firstly you can do this test yourself by downloading ]]
So this simple spelling involves the mind and knowledge we yet don't know all about and you can start to see that perhaps the tests of simple spelling have similarity and similar functions to the things that are used to test and/or stimulate our brain and memory
