Accommodation Facilities
With its three bedrooms (two double rooms and one bunkroom) the McAlpine Bach accomadation is versitile to suit couples, groups and families. All rooms are fully furnished, with a colour television and stereo provided in the family room.  The kitchen is fully eqipped with fridge, large freezer and stove, and a BBQ may be used on the front veranda.  Play/parking area at rear.

At the northern end of Whiritoa beach is Moa reserve (with toilets, bathing shed, inland lagoon, popular with children in particular).  If you wade across the lagoon you come to the start of a walking track through natural bush to secluded Waimana Bay (20 mins).  At the centre of the beach is the surf life saving club, and at the southern end is another walking track bypassing a blow hole.

During your stay at the McAlpineBach holiday home there are plenty of hotspots to explore.  For the sportsman, there are tennis courts at Whiritoa, great fishing, and golf courses within arms reach.  And for those who love the beach, or just taking in some of the natural beauty that the mountains provides, from sand and surf to bushwalks and waterfalls, the Coromandel has it all!
