About Marge
Marge Booth first went to Appalachia with her daughter around 1985 to do missionary work.  She enjoyed the work so much that she decided she wanted to move over there permanently.  Her move was made possible by her own church, the First Presbyterian Church in Maryland.  She relocated to Dry Creek, West Virginia in 1990 and her living expenses are paid for through the mission budget of her home church.  Marge says her reward for her work is twofold in that she loves both the families she helps and the people that she works with.  Knowing that she is making a difference keeps her going each day.
