Eddie Plank pitched 8 strong innings and Ed Delahanty hit a homerun at Dodger
Stadium as the North Eaton Posy DagGumits beat the Cleveland Mayors 3 to
1.

Plank(2-1) gave North Eaton a solid outing.  He allowed only 2 hits and 3
walks in 8 innings seeing his ERA drop from 7.00 to 4.85.  North Eaton had 11
hits for the afternoon while Cleveland had 3. 

Plank got relief help from Jeff Montgomery who gained credit for his 4th save.
Amos Rusie(0-3) took the loss.  He was knocked around by North Eaton,
allowing 10 hits and 5 walks in 7 innings. 

The winning ways continue for North Eaton.  They now have a record of 8-2 in
recent days.  Not able to get much going in recent weeks, Cleveland is 2-8 of
late and now has an overall record of 4-14, worst in the division.
