There is an incredible array of outstanding Jewish websites that have been developed through the years. One can do anything from shopping for Jewish books, Judaica gifts, & Jewish religious articles at TovBid.com, an exciting new shopping and auction site for the Jewish community to sites like www.kolel.org, offering free online classes in everything from Talmud to Jewish parenting. There are sites like Jewhoo.com, a site that celebrates the Jewish contribution to civilization and is well on its way to being a Jewish biographical encyclopedia and the Steven Spielberg Jewish Film Archive where one can view for free many short films documenting the Jewish experience. Other sites like Mavensearch.com, Shamash.com, and Jewish.com are portals, sites that link like Yahoo, to thousands of Jewish resources on the web. I will be showing you some of these links and some local Orange County Jewish Resources initially in this article. In ensuing articles I will point out more specific Jewish Resources on the Web. I hope you enjoy visiting these sites as much as I enjoyed assembling them.

I will also be posting these sites to a webpage I am currently building and they will be in a form where you can just click on the various links and go to the websites which is much easier and more efficient. My webpage address or URL (Uniform Resource Locater) is http://www.oocities.org/mborison/ and I will be posting articles that I write for the West Coast Jewish News and also articles about Internet Resources in general that I write for Senior Citizens Reporter like how to buy and sell on eBay and subjects important to Seniors. On my webpage I also will have a collection of links that will lead to many Useful sites for Seniors. It will also be a webpage that links to the Costa Mesa Learning Center's, SeniorNet Website whose mission is to provide older adults education for and access to computer technologies to enhance their lives and enable them to share their knowledge and wisdom.

I am the Introduction to the Internet Instructor at the Costa Mesa Senior Center's SeniorNet facility. We are currently offering 10 different classes, including classes in Windows (98 or XP) 1 and 2, Word Processing, Printshop, Digital Photography using Photoshop Elements 2, E-Mail, and the Introduction to the Internet. For information please call (949) 545-2356 or stop by the Costa Mesa Senior Center at 695 19th St. and inquire at the desk. Feel free to email me if you have any questions or any ideas for future articles. I hope you enjoy these resources as much as I enjoyed finding them and I wish you all a
Happy and Peaceful New Year.

Famous Jewish or "part" Jewish persons, in a wide variety of fields, are organized by category. You can search for a person by entering his/her name in the search engine. Or you can simply click on a category and enjoy yourself by reading the material on the people in the category.
