Welcome to our new web site. MGG was set up by a group of residents concerned that a patch of land adjoining Marshfield Bank Industrial Estate on the outskirts of Crewe, Cheshire, was quickly becoming derelict and uncared for. Recognising it’s potential for wildlife, education and quiet enjoyment, some of the local residents approached the relevant council authorities for permission to establish the site as a Local Nature Reserve and sought funding to this end and to render the site accessible to all. |
