Jerik Speardragon was the son of a noble man in Llacrynia. His father was assassinated when he was young and his mother was gravely ill and soon died. Abandoned into poverty, Jerik began to do a little novice thievery. Two years later, Jerik joined the Black Sting Thieves Guild and rose to power due to the events of the Theives' War. He is a very layed-back person with a sarcastic sense of humor. Jerik is not only one of the most loyal friends you will find, he is the funnest to be around. Always making jokes and playing tricks on people, few of his closest friends ever miss going to the local tavern with him. However, it is not easy to get into the Guild. Jerik only accepts the best thieves and often has the person who wants to join go through a tough mission as a test. He doesn't get mad very easily, and often when he does you won't know it untill it's too late. When he does get mad (whether he lets you know or not) his wrath is uncomparable. He led one high member of the Guild to the foot of guards after the member greatly angered him. His deep green eyes are often enough to scare most potential opponents. Although a thief, Jerik isn't all bad. He is always willing to aid quest for a good cause without expecting a lofty payment. He is known as the greatest thief alive, and often is asked if he will aid a band of adventuring heros hired by the king. He is the bearer of the sword Amasmus, the Flaming Shadow.
