Work in progress-Flying Geese Quilt |
Here is one section of a major work in progress. This will eventually be a King size flying geese quilt. I want to use a 5 inch squares from all the fabric I've received from different swaps. This section is from a fat eight swap that I was in. |

Here is my second section of my flying geese work in progress. These are from a monthly 5 inch swap that I've participated in. Each person was placed on a list of 8 people. I had to send 8 5" squares to each person on the list. Luckily everyone but 1 person was kind enough to send me a set of squares. |

Here is the third section of flying geese. To make the geese, I am using the strip sewing method which easily makes 4 equal flying geese from one 5" square. |

I have another section started and will be finishing that section soon. When it is done, I will be placing that picture here also. |

I got the directions to make the flying geese block from www.quilterscache.com. I have used this site as an EXCELLENT resource for everything quilt related. This site has an excellent alphabetized list of quilt blocks with very good directions. |
