Work in progress-Flying Geese Quilt
Here is one section of a major work in progress.  This will eventually be a King size flying geese quilt.  I want to use a 5 inch squares from all the fabric I've received from different swaps.  This section is from a fat eight swap that I was in.
Here is my second section of my flying geese work in progress.  These are from a monthly 5 inch swap that I've participated in.  Each person was placed on a list of 8 people.  I had to send 8 5" squares to each person on the list. Luckily everyone but 1 person was kind enough to send me a set of squares.
Here is the third section of flying geese.  To make the geese, I am using the strip sewing method which easily makes 4 equal flying geese from one 5" square.
I have another section started and will be finishing that section soon.  When it is done, I will be placing that picture here also.
HOW I MADE THE FLYING GEESE
I got the directions to make the flying geese block from www.quilterscache.com.  I have used this site as an EXCELLENT resource for everything quilt related.  This site has an excellent alphabetized list of quilt blocks with very good directions.
If you are interested in trying quilterscache method of making flying geese, I have included a link to her site.
