| I bought this Mitsubishi Eclipse on eBay. This is my 3rd vehicle bought on eBay. I picked it up on January 18th 2003, with 128,200 miles. |
| Update: May 23rd, 2003. At 133,000 miles I have had some problems but I'm pretty much keeping up with them as they occur. I had a major service done at Mitsubishi including, Timing Belt, tensioners, and pulleys replaced, new water pump, new CV boot, new rear oil seal, new thermostat, new turbo inlet tube gasket. Thats about it. It's my daily driver. |
| Update: November 21, 2003. At 138,000 miles I went to Atco raceway and ran my first 1/4 mile. I had 3 runs with a best of 14.2 seconds at 95mph. I only use it on weekends now since I have a van I use for work each day. As for modifications, I have a full exhaust, open K&N intake, manual boost controller set to 14psi, upgraded spark plug wires, and a boost gauge which I mounted on the steering column. |

| *** Unfortunately I had to part with the Eclipse I always wanted. The engine blew and I did not have the facilities to rebuild it as I would like. I am hopeful that someday when the time is right I can find another. *** |
