This beautifully decorated two-story home located on Site # A-6 is currently available for rent!
Our home is only steps away from the beach,
and the ocean view from both decks is awesome!
The house will easily accommodate up to 12 people. We have two master suites, one on the main level and another on the upper level which opens onto the deck. Both master suites are king bedrooms. There is also an additional king bedroom, one queen bedroom, and a children's room with accommodations for six. All bedrooms
have TVs with cable connections. There are
three full bathrooms, a spacious den with TV and
comfortable seating, and a modern, fully-equipped
kitchen and roomy dining area. We also have
a washer/dryer.
Ocean Lakes is a gated community with security on duty twenty-four hours a day and seven days a week. This award-winning three hundred acre resort, the largest on the east coast, boasts a mile of private beach and all the amenities of the campground are included in your rent. There is an Olympic-sized outdoor pool, a heated indoor pool and two kiddy pools. For those who like to fish, we are within walking distance of the pier at Surfside Beach, and there are also eight freshwater lakes within the campground itself. There are two oceanfront playgrounds, shuffleboard, miniature golf, basketball goals, an observation deck, an arcade with snack bar, games and pool tables and a recreation building which is used for exercise classes on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and non-denominational church services on Sunday. Water-aerobics are offered at the indoor pool on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings. In addition, there are many other activities and supervised children's events which are listed in the schedule of events which we will leave in the house for you.
Ocean Lakes opened an expanded "Camptown Center" in 2005. This includes a larger general store, laundry facility, snack bar and covered dining which will seat nearly 200 people. Outside seating is provided for 150 people and there are various performers on the deck's gazebo.
Easy access and covered parking is available under the house for up to four vehicles.
Golf carts and bicycles are available for rent through the campground.
The campground charges a $3 per night parking fee. We will send you the Express Check-in forms which you may complete and return to the Campground Office prior to your arrival. This will allow you to drive directly into the facility and not have to stop at the front office.

Towels and bed linens are not provided. You will also need to supply your own paper products and soap.

Reservations are taken for full weeks during the regular season (end of May to beginning of September). The reservation week begins at 3 p.m. on Saturday and ends at 11 a.m. the following Saturday. Cleaning supplies and two vacuum cleaners are provided for your use. Maid service is not provided but may be contracted. Please let us know if you wish to arrange this.

Over 100 golf courses, deep sea fishing charters, shopping outlets and malls, Carolina Opry, Alabama Theater, House of Blues, water parks, Broadway at the Beach, Dixie Stampede, over 40 miniature golf courses, Barefoot Landing, Brookgreen Gardens, Ripley's Aquarium, The Palace Theatre, and much more. The campground sells discounted tickets to many of these attractions, including the beautiful Prestwick golf course.
