What's New - Sept 2003
Sept 22, 2003: I ended up going up to San Fran this weekend.  I got to spend some time with a co-worker from another office.  We went to North Beach, Golden Gate Bridge - i never actually physically walked the bridge (now I'm glad to say I'll never have to again), and did a San Francisco Bay boat tour, which turned out to be pretty fun.

In poor judgement, we actually called a couple of our friends at 1:00am (3:00am CST).  Probably not one of my better ideas, but hey, one of them was calling me all day so that I could get a play by play of his trek to see a Billy Idol concert.  He left me several messages with barely audible Billy Idol music.  The other one...well, needless to say, he's not talking to me right now.

My folks are leaving for China this week.  My dad's convinced that all is not right with this trip and he may not come back from it, so he's been instructing me on all kinds of household stuff.  My mom's no better.  She told me where she kept all her stuff, in case of emergencies.  I told them if they were so sure that all was not well, then they shouldn't be going!!  They're really starting to freak me out.

I'll be in Cabo San Lucas from Sunday - Wednesday next week, so the next update will probably be on Thursday, unless miles makes me turn one in early.  If you see anything odd about my next update, just assume that Miles wrote it for me.

Sept 15, 2003:
This weekend wasn't overly eventful.  Erin & I went to Casa del Mar to enjoy
a drink on Friday evening.  It was surprisingly crowded.  Was it worth the $12 martini? mmm...doubtful.

On Saturday, I went to a picnic in Irvine...saw some folks I hadn't seen in awhile.  That evening Erin & I went to the Crazy Horse at the Irvine Spectrum.  It was a lot of fun - it was disco Saturday night!  Some guy gave us his pass to get into the club!  We didn't have to pay or wait in line. It's a good thing because I was trying to figure out how I would be able to get in w/out waiting!!  :)  It's funny how most of the times, I don't want to be in work mode but sometimes my work mode just pops up & I just don't
believe in having to WAIT.

I think I may be hopping up to San Fran this weekend.  Not 100% sure yet. That should be fun...
