| 04/16/2002 - Well, I've been at my new job for two weeks. These past two weeks have been filled with a LOT of overtime hours. I've been enjoying my new position at Teleflora, though. I like doing event planning and it's been fun. I'm still really behind, but I'm trying my best to catch up! I figure I'll have time to slow down in July!!! ACK!! Everything else is great...life is just filled with work! |
| 04/21/02 - OK, i got picked for jury duty. I'm lame, but i couldn't see myself standing up in the middle of compton and saying, "YES, I'M A RACIST & BIGOT" It's amazing what self preservation can do. Ron, Tosh, Sao, Darin, & I had our quarterly event. We went to Baja Cantina...ran into Scottie Pippen. That was the excitement for the evening. |
| 04/23/02 - My new job has been very fun, but very tiring. My bosses have been giving me a hard time about jury duty, but they've been totally cool. I had to send out a description of a golf course that we have an upcoming tournament at. My immediate supervisor made me add a joke about the VP of sales' golfing capabilities. Of course, there was a response that was NOT favorable from the VP. My response to him was, "HEY! It's not my fault!! I would NEVER insult my boss of two weeks!! I'd wait at least 4!!" Yeah, way to impress the higher ups. On the $h!t list already!!! |
