Shepparton Rnd 5

Off most of the competitors who have been following the NR series were there accpet the Turner family due to some illness get well soon.

The  night before wasnt looking good as the rain came down, we arived at the track to see the water hadnt done too much damage to the track. As practice started, it started to spit, we got through the 1st moto ok, as we got into the 2nd moto the rain came down, but the track was still pretty quick.

The future of bmx was a class to watch, the sproket rockets had a bit of trouble getting up the jumps once the rain started coming down, Connor Murray marched on all day, Will Sandlands was riding well. These kids are gunna b the next HRV and Bootes. In the 6 sprokets there was some good racing between young Wade Bonham & Zayvier Sandlands, these guys battled for most of the day, young Callum Jeffrees has shown some improvment, and so has young Kaleb Toth. In the 7 sprokets Ethan Murray proved too strong as he has done all series.

The 8-11 girls was a reasonable turn out, home town girl Shakeah Cleary proved to strong for Ebony Dunsworth and Charlie Webb. The very fast improving Teagan Jeffree is starting to mix it up a bit.  9 boys there was some little dude out to prove his point his name might of been Madison Denholm, hes a flyer, he didnt drop a moto all day on his #36 machine.

The 10 boys was down a rider after Brandon "box head" Bullows ate it hard in practice, Jamie Mahuka was riding well, Brandon May was doing well piking up 2nds all day, Nathan vicary doing pretty well with his consistantly improvin. The 11 girls is getting stronger the sunbury rider of Oliva Clark was putting on a show for the crowd, keep ur eyes out for these young ladies they are battling for points now.

12boys young Ash Whyte took top spot on the day Daniel Kozoulins was riding strong all day. Jarrod Anderson, Tommy Siinmaa and young Jordan Morgan battled it out all day not sure who got the win, may have been Jarrod from Tom then Jordan. Dan Stocks took the win in style, the 19+ men was a good quality race young Shepparton rider Jay Cleary was mixing it up with the big boys, Jamie Bullows took the win follwed by Jay Cleary.

19+ crusier Good to see big Gaz Morgan making the trip down he was flying all day, he shut it down in the last race this guy is on fire hes a good chance fow a final birth at worlds check this guy out when u see him. 14+men  12 riders Thunder Dan come down to Shepp for the weekend he was riding nice  shepp boys May, Collins, & Barker were going good all day, Slatter Bros Took each other out in a moto, Jenko was riding quiet neat.

30-11-02  Victorian State Titles

To start off a good weekend of racing for some, and a bad for others. We Traveled down to South Eastern. The track was looking good, but not so fast. The corners were a little slippery, but we all got over it. Nothing stopped the good racing, the track got faster which meant the racing got even more intense. Around 300-400 riders turned up to this race meet which was Thunders last year can he go out on a high?

9 boys is always a class to watch with some young guns in the field this would have to be 1 of the most competative classes in BMX. Mahuika and Carlos looked the goods it looked as though May and Bullows may be in with a show. FINAL Well the gate has gone Carlos has hit the front Mahuka puts his head down and goes for it, May and Bullows both got bad starts leaving them behind, Cuthbert got a good start he was in the mix, then got shut down. Carlos proved that little bit stronger than xtremebmxing Jamie Mahuika. May and Bullows had to fight through the traffic!.

WELL 10 boys this class had every 1 thinking, How quick is Dunsworth, can Cleary beat him, Horton in the mix. Bang gate gone Brodie Cleary has hit the gas and gone, he has gone. Dunsworth very slow on the power Cleary extends 5 -10 bikes, now hes gone, its gonna be hard to catch this boy from here. Dunsworth trying everything  Horton getting some power down he looks to be coming home strong, Cleary was just to good from Dunsworth and Horton.

12 boys This class is full of guns Can Hindson stay on, will Mucutchin take another state #1? Can Siinmaa make an upset? Final HIndson has got the best of startsm Mucutchin is out after him. Siinmaa is in pain as he was taken out in a previous moto by Zach Perry. Hindson and Mucutchin extend, these 2 boys are going for it, last straight. Mucutchin rises, he evens.  Hindson fights back Hindson takes top spot from Mucutchin.

13 boys 2 favorites Redlines Shaun Craven & Blowflys Daniel Stocks, Mason Baldi was looking good during the year but got put out by the doctors. We wish Mason all the best. Gates gone Stocks hits the front Craven goes with himm Craven goes loose and hits the dirt this leaves Stocks to go out into cruise mode he got the title if he can keep it up right he cruises ova the line, Daniel Stocks #1.

15 boys, 3 major favorites for this Blowflys May, Norcos Dave Page & defending champ Scott Lacey. Gates gone, May doesnt know what to do, Lacey and Page hit the front away they go Dixon has gone May is in pursuit, Hindson not far behind May, there is nothing May can do from here hes to far behind, Lacey leads Page down the final straight Page comes out top challenge but Lacey just gets there from Page, Dixon, Hindson & May.

16 boys, The 1 to beat was Miller who can do it? Gates gone he's to quick, Wood riding hard goes into turn hes going fast, is it fast enough to catch up to Miller? The pack is there fighting for the minors, Miller to quick from Wood, Siinmaa in about 4th Place.

JE MEN, Young Hot favorite, Beerens in there, Collins riding fast, Hollings in the mix. Gates gone Hollings way to early hes out, Young with the best start who can catch him,  Beerens is going hard, Hoare in that 3rd place, collins in 4. Young seems to have won this race, Beerens takes it on the line from Young, Hoare and Collins.

Elite Ladies straight motos, no fun. Elliot to good, Caroline Sabotka in for 2 and xtrembmxings Elisa Foley in for 3.

Elite Men Will we hear Thunder Roar? Well Bang We hear Thunder alright, all we see is the Iron Horse colours of THUNDER, Ben Price up there, Grigg moving through. Thunder was unstopable from Simon Grigg, Robb & Price fight for 3 & 4. A pile up in the last corner saw a few go down but thats racing.

THUNDER IS #1 FOR THE LAST TIME, TEAM MARZOCCHI IS #1, DANIEL STOCKS IS #1

21-10-01  A Start for Blowfly Bicycles

The 1st frame we have made is from steel, made for dirt jumping. The top tube is a pro xl, measuring in at 21.5" and a nice compact back end at 15". If your wondering if this frame has been tested, well yes it has been tested by the people who it was made by. No it wasnt treated nice, it got trashed at the trails!. It has had a few little miss haps, but they soon got fixed and the bike went out for another trashing session.

The frame was made by Nathan May and Brendon Siinmaa and thanks to Greg Siinmaa for the welding.
If your wondering why the company got called blowfly bikes & Co, we couldnt think of a better name, its not exactly easy thinking of a name for a bike company. We will make frames to your measurements, e-mail them to us at
blowflybikes@hotmail.com and give us all the info and a contact number so that we can call u to see when u want it by.

We only use 41-30 cr-mo, you should see a few of these bikes floating around soon. We hope to get a few riders on our bikes supporting the blowfly colours. There will be at least three of the blowflys around the BMX tracks, you might even spot one at the local trails. If there is any one out there looking for a nicely priced frame you have come to the right place.
