Commonwealth Heads of Government Meetings (CHOGM)
are held every two years. CHOGM 2005 will be held in Valletta, Malta, from
25 to 27 November on the theme, “Networking the Commonwealth for
Development,” hosted by the Maltese Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi. CHOGM
meetings bring together presidents, prime ministers and heads of state to
discuss Commonwealth and global issues, and develop a consensus on
collective policies and initiatives. These summits provide a unique forum
for consultation at the highest level of government. The Commonwealth
meeting will be attended by 53 Heads of Government, for the most part
Presidents and Prime Ministers, of almost all Commonwealth countries and
many other Maltese and foreign dignitaries.
In view of this prestigious meeting being held in such a small island of
Malta, the MT-Division is proudly presenting a massive event to compliment
the CHOGM 2005 meeting. It will be held on the 19th of October 2005,
starting 11:00 Zulu till 23:00 Zulu. We will provide 12hours of non-stop
Professional ATC. We are looking forward to create some heavy traffic.
