  • TSgt Anthony P Accurso: Edwards AFB, CA. RAF Bentwaters/Woodbridge, Jan 1991-Apr 1993, 81st EMS. I truly miss the twin bases, the people and the local community! I lived on RAF Woodbridge and worked in Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) WRM/PPP Section. As the base closure approached, I was moved to RAF Bentwaters and initially worked in the RAF Bentwaters AGE Shop and then during my final three months, I worked in Base Supply. I was involved in removing furniture from the base faculties. I'm sad to see what has happened to the bases during the past 12 years but I'm also thrilled to see that others have made an effort to preserve the history. This website is great source of information. Thank you! I plan on making every effort to keep the history of the twin bases alive for future generation. 12/27/05
