| I apologize to all 8 of you who gripe about lack of content, no updates, etc. Well hell look where I live for christ's sake! Anyways, this is north of the Kona Coast State park. Go across 2 beaches, walk up past a old abandoned house, go across a lava field, climb over a few sand dunes and end up at Makalawena Beach(I think thats what you call it). A meandering, mellow kine hike with the typical drop dead gorgeous scenery, neat little coves and wonderful weather. No other people, fine white sand, nice swimming holes and decent waves to ride. Another sweeeet day on the big island. |
