| Three strong characteristics that I have is work best under stress, determined to get the job done and done right the first time, and that I work good with groups. Some examples would be that when I worked for a construction company we had constant deadlines to finish different projects. Every one of those projects was completed on time and done right even though at many times I had more than one project going on at the same time. A good example with me working in groups was in one of my economics classes in which I was involved in a web development project for the class with 5 different individuals. Each one contributed to the project but I was the leader that kept the project together and kept the communication going. I’m a type of person who does well with stress. I can do many different jobs all at the same time with different deadlines and complete them all within the short amount of time I’m given. I give the extra work to make sure that everything is right the first time. I like to get things done and done the very first time I’m told to do them. I like working with different co-workers to get a job done. I will make sure that the communication lines within the workplace are open and used often. I also love to learn various different skills to improve my knowledge in information systems and business that I haven’t already learned. I think it’s very important to continue increasing knowledge even when in the workforce. I also strive to be different than everyone else, I try to think for new ideas and bring in different outlooks than the other employees. I am willing to learn anything that the company is willing to teach me. The more skills I know the more valuable I will be to the company and that is what I want. I want to help the company as much as I can with the knowledge I have and share it with other co-workers. I also will give the extra effort to help other employees out so they can finish their work. I think that it is really important to help the co-workers because they could help, in the future, if they are needed to help. I also like to get jobs done as early as possible so that if there is any problems faced after finishing up the job I can go back and fix them with plenty of time before the due date. I think that procrastination will not help at all, especially if problems are faced when doing the job. All in all I think that I would be a great asset to add to the company. |
