| The History Of Robots. Robots have been around since ancient roman time when a greek engineer by the name of Ctesibus.He made organs and water clocks with moveable fingres. Westinghouse created two of the first robots.The first robot was named Electro, it could dance , count to ten , smoke .The second one was a dog, it could bark, walk, and stand on its hind leg. |
| ROBOT BASICS In order a robot to be a robot the body has to move and funtion . Robots need a power source to work. And to move they need moveable segments. Some robots have electric motors and others have colenoids which are wheels. Not all robots have sensory systems and a few robots have the ability to see and hear , all robots have the ability to move so therefore, all robots have to move in order to be a robot. The basic parts that all robots need is legs , feet , a head , mid section , hips , eyes , hands , and some sort of enegry like electricity so that it can move. |
| ROBOTIC ARMS. Robotic arms are the most simple of all robots. it has four basic parts , they are the base,shoulder,elbow and forearm.Robotic arms are esstinal to building cars because they never get tired they don't need breaks , pay , and they don't get board . Some of the major companies that use robotic arms are Nissan , Honda , Ford , Mitsubishi , and Toyota . Another reason that car companies use robotic arms is that robotic arms can lift heavyer odjects and are a great investment . |
| There are robots all around us whether you know it or not there in toys,factories,and they help build the cars that you drive everyday.Robots are an everyday life. |

| My name is Matthew Wimbush and I attend Mount Miguel high school I am 14 years old . I am going to the tenth grade. Some my favorite things to do are running , watching Sponge Bob Squae Pants , and spending time with my family . At school I am apart of the track team .The events that I run are the 400 , 800 , and the 400 hundred meter relay , next year I am going to be apart of A.S.B and the maskcot for the football team. |

| As we get further into the future I think that robots will be all over the home . They will be doing yard work , making meals and taking care of children as though they were a nanny. |
