Exploring the Darkness – The Birth OF Kuro-Inuyasha
Naraku, torn between his hatred and his lust for Inuyasha devises a plan to trap him in Kaana’s Mirror for all time
However, while Naraku is devising this sinister plot, Onigumo becomes aware and devises a plot of his own. When Naraku is at his weakest, Onigumo breaks free of Naraku and sets out in search of the priestess Kikyo, determined to possess her after all this time.
Onigumo/Musso’s ultimate goal is to complete the soul transfer The Witch Urasuea started when she molded Kikyo’s new body from the ashes, earth, and bones from her gravesite.
Once he finds and overpowers Kikyo, Onigumo/Musso sends a swarm of Saimyosho to abduct Kagome.
All of this runs counter to Naraku’s plan, so he sends Kagura to find and subdue Onigumo until he can arrive and reabsorb him. Naraku’s Ultimate plan is to kill Kagome in front of Inuyasha and then hurl his shattered soul Into Kaana’s mirror.
Inuyasha flies off into his usual rage, due to Kagome’s kidnapping and sets off to follow Kagome’s trail. Kouga Miroku, Sango, and Shippo have each been led in different directions, and trapped, so that they are unable to assist Inuyasha this time. Kaede is far too ill to lend a hand.
When Naraku finds Musso/Onigumo, then tires to destroy Oniguimo's heart to finally free himself of the love he feels for Kikyo, but it proves impossible and so tries to lure him back by swallowing the Shikon Jewel. Onigumo realizes that for the soul transfer to work, He needs the Jewel, and attacks Naraku to retrieve it. Onigumo foolishly takes the bait and realizes too late, that once absorbed this time, he will never get free again.
Inuyasha tries the Backlash wave to destroy them both but as Naraku reintegrates Onigumo, but the wave missed the mark thanks to Kagura’s interference. The only thing that does happen is the jewel explodes from Naraku’s body.
Inu then runs for it
Naraku hits Inuyasha with a lightening bolt[*,**] to stop him from acquiring the now nearly whole Jewel, sending him flying into the tree holding the bound Kagome.
Kagome and gets free, and picks up the unconscious Kikyo’s bow and arrow and fires off an arrow aimed straight for Naraku’s heart. In the melee Kagura jumps in thinking that in the confusion, she can destroy everyone, and finally gain her freedom. She creates a twister, just as Kagome Releases her Arrow. Instead of hitting Naraku, it hits Kaana in the back instead.
Everyone gets caught in the twister swirling around in the funnel. Inuyasha drops Tetsusaiga, and begins to change into his full demon form. Naraku extends his arm out, catching Kagura’s throat, and lifts her into the air slamming her down, knocking her unconscious, and possibly dead.
As the winds die down Inuyasha lands on Kaana. She holds up the mirror (splattered in her blood) to Inuyasha, as he tries to get up. His reflection now trapped in the mirror, when one of Naraku’s Tentacles burst through Inuyasha’s chest, splattering the mirror with his blood.
As the blood mixes, Kagome fires off another arrow at Naraku; it pierces his shoulder and hits the mirror, cracking it. The demon blood mixes and seeps into the mirror, causing a huge flash of light, and when its over A second Inuyasha Stands there, Kuro-Inuyasha Is Born.
* This assumes that in addition to absorbing evil or good, the Shikon Jewel can absorb the very powers that each holder of a Jewel shard possessed.

Kuro is still a half demon, but with some very important differences. However, Naraku's plan to trap Inuyasha backfired giving Kuro these advantages over the original Inuyasha.
Kuro Does Not turn totally mortal under a moonless night,
Kuro can go into Full Demon State, without losing hold Of the Tetsusaiga, and stay in full control . However, Kuro [when he loses control] can transform into a more sinister Demon. His "Dai Youkai" Form. In this state he is aware of himself, but the darkness, and negativity in his soul overpower him. He remembers his deeds when it is over, and lives with the guilt.
Kuro shows the emotions Inuyasha holds back, and amplifies them.
[Kuro Calls Inuyasha "Red" because of the clothes he wears. [Kuro's clothes are black]
Kuro is Bi-sexual. Though He loves Kagome, [and even tried to marry her once] they are just good friends now, He will always have feelings for both Kagome and Kikyo, but, Koga is His true Mate.
Kuro Does Not lose his Fighting Spirit If he is not near Kagome,
Kuro and Inuyasha share the same soul. if one dies, so will the other one.
Kuro is still susceptible to Kagome's "SIT" Command, if He is within earshot. [But even Sit does not Work On Kuro/Dai]
Though Kuro Is Inuyasha's Yami/Twin he is not Born from Inuyasha. Kuro just comes from a different dimension. [Although Inuyasha Is Unaware of this at first]

Kuro May Be Dark, But He is not Evil. However, Keeping the Evil that lives inside him is a full-time job.
Inuyasha Has been trapped in a mirror Once before, with hugely different results.
Kuro is in fact, Stronger than Sesshomaru and can use his "Whip of Light" and "Poison claw" attacks.
There are times when Kuro is stricken with periods of sadness and melancholy. It is these times when he needs to find a reason to go on.
Kuro struggles constantly with his Most evil side. The "Kamidai-Youkai". It is not easy to push him to it but, when one does They regret it - if they survive. Kuro lives with the guilt either way, and That Guilt threatens to destroy him If he cannot learn to control it.
Kuro Is Fiercely Loyal to those he Loves. and a terrible Enemy to have, Though He Is Able to express What he feels inside, He is Still after all Inuyasha. And Still has the Insecurities, and fears as his Counterpart .
Kuro Had To Destroy Sou'nga, but he still carries the sheath, and it's spirit Guardian Saya [Although, this Saya is a hot young Demon sprit, and One of the few ways to bring Kuro Back From His "Dai-Youkai or "KamiDai" State"
