To introduce our organization we would like to give you an important information about who we are. Oromo's Muslim Association of Oregon has been established in 1999 by some small group of Oromos' Muslims families who live and work in around Portland metro Area. Because, all of us share the same identity and have common background, it became essential to be organized and create effective learning channel for our kids and ground ups too. One of our main goals is, to establish regular prayer place for our community. Again we want to remind all Muslim, private and governmental charitable organization, to help and support us in building our masjed which will include elementary school grade 1-6th.
Our mission is to implement Islamic solutions, which will provide the Muslim community in Portland metro area with religious, educational networking, cultural and community programs.
