WHAT IS DFECT AND WHAT DOES IT MEAN?                      WHAT KIND OF MUSIC DOES DFECT MAKE?

"DFECT" is simply the name of the music project that I am working on. And....it doesn't mean a damn thing. No hidden meaning here people. I may be changing it in the near future.

Well....not even I'm sure at this point. As of right now I have been producing some songs in the "Noise" area, but I've always had a soft spot for Synth Pop so we'll see what happens. Instead of bogging "DFECT" down in one area I/we will most likely simply do whatever the hell we feel like.

WHERE ARE YOU HOPING TO TAKE DFECT?

WHAT BANDS DO YOU THINK INFLUENCE THE MUSIC YOU MAKE MOST?

Well... I have no idea. If people enjoy what I do then I guess thats enough. I most certainly wasn't thinking about making lots of money while making the songs so why would I be thinking like that now. Money is always welcome though so give me your lunch money.

Its hard to say what bands influence "DFECT" most because there are so many great people that  put out amazing music, but I shall name a few. I have always loved the melodic female vocals in KMFDM and AND ONE. I have always loved the harsh yet dancey songs of FUNKER VOGT. And I especially love the upbeat, get your ass out on the dance floor music of APOP. He has a special way of blending happy inspiring music with toss yourself off a building because my life is so depressing lyrics. All in all......... I'm sure bits and pieces of the above will filter into what I produce just as these artists have incorporated aspects into their songs from the bands that they look up to.

To make a short story even shorter, I cant afford one right now, but once i'm able to support a website and my various other vices I shall do so in a heartbeat.
