High School Days

Again, it took longer than my friends did to go to school.  It took one and a quarter hours.  Yes, in the rush hour in Osaka.  Fortunately, my school is located in suberb Ikeda City, Osaka.  That means people were heading the other direction, to the heart of the city (Umeda.)  I saw people enjoying "OSHIKURA MANJYU" every day around 7:00 in the morning.

I used to get on the train around 7:00 even though it took about an hour to school.  The reason is that I had to get on the bus after the train.  The bus stop would be very crowded with other school mates after 7:30.  If I got there after 7:30, I would be late for school.  I don't think I could get on until 8:15 if I got there after 7:30.  It was a hell long line formed by the boys and girls.  I hated it and chose to get up early.  I usually got school around 8:00 and enjoyed eating breakfast.

When I was 1st grade, I sarted to work at a Chinese restaurant called "GYOZA NO OHSHO."  I had a dream since I was 4 or 5 to get my driver lisence and buy a car as soon as I'd be 18.  I started by doing the dishes.  Man, if you have worked or seen the back stage of a restaurant, you know it, huh?  Washing the dishes with lots of oily leavings made me almost vomit.  It looked bad and smelled bad.

Luckily, I could get out of there and taught how to cook.  I was taught how to cook noodles first.  I got used to cooking as fast as possible, and finally, I was called, "SENJYU KANNON."

After working there for about two years, I went to a driving school while I was on summar vacation, and in September, I got the license.  But, Before I got it, I signed the contract to buy Honda Prelude.  I felt really good when I paid in cash.  I went to high school by my car several times since then.  It was kind of risky, but I thought that nobody would think a high school student would come by a car driving himself.  Fortunatelly, I wasn't found by the teacher or nobody.
