As you can see on this, my homepage, next to my family, animals are truly dear to my heart.  I have 3 grown children, and 3 grandchildren, and they are all precious to me, as you will see on my other pages.  I love Music, and I am in an Art League, and love painting, which you will see my paintings on one of my other pages.  I live in Northeastern California in one of the 4 communities in Big Valley.  It is truly beautiful here, and I am blessed with so many dear friends.  I have one younger sister who lives in Southern California, and I love her dearly.  I am not only blessed with wonderful friends, but with a wonderful family.  Since I have had a computer for 2 years, it gives me much enjoyment, because I am into genealogy, so that I can leave family information for my children & my grandchildren.
If any of these surnames are familiar to you, I would appreciate hearing from you.  My Surnames are:  Kellogg,  Bowes,  Ivey,  Hineline, Rateliff,  Brees,  Mastin, Butler, Dietzel, and Arroway
I hope you will take a look at all of my webpages, and I hope you will enjoy seeing them.

This is a picture of my adopted Lion, Kalahari.  I have never seen him except in this picture.  He is at Tiger Haven, in Knoxville, Tennessee.  He almost died until Tiger Haven rescued him.  I have adoption papers and the story of Kalahari.  As you can see he is well and happy now.  I donate to Tiger Haven every month, and I think it is well worth it.  If you would like to donate to Tiger Haven please send your donations to this address:  Tiger Haven, 1237 East Weisgarber Road, P.O. Box 50550, Knoxville, TN  37950-0550

In Memory of Beloved Pets Who Are Gone, But Not Forgotten.
I stood by your bed last night, I came to have a peep.
I could see that you were crying.  You found it hard to sleep.

I whined to you softly as you brushed away a tear,
"It'sme, I haven't left you, I'm well, I'm fine, I'm here."

I was close to you at breakfast, I watched you pour the tea,
You were thinking of the many times your hands reached down to me.

I was with you at the shops today.  Your arms were getting sore.
I longed to take your parcels, I wish I could do more.

I was with you at my grave today, You tend it with such care.
I want to re-assure you, that I'm not lying there.

I walked with you towards the house, as you fumbled for your key.
I gently put my paw on you, I smiled and said "It's me."

You looked so very tired, and sank into a chair.
I tried so hard to let you know, that I was standing there.

It's possible for me to be so near you everyday.
To say to you with certainty, "I never went away."

You sat there very quietly, then smiled, I think you new
in the stillness of that evening.  I was very close to you.

The day is over...I  smile and watch you yawning and say "Good-night, God Bless, I'll see you in the morning."

And when the time is right for you to cross the brief divide,
I'll rush across to greet you and we'll stand, side by side.

I have so many things to show you, there is so much for you to see.
Be patient, live your jouney out... Then come home to be with me.
