Ladies,

The time has come for the teacher’s Christmas luncheon and I need your help. I haven’t planned the exact date yet, but I need a budget to pay for a meal for up to 85 teachers and staff. So, I’m asking for parents to “Sponsor a Teacher” for the luncheon. This could be a donation in the amount of $10 or $15 per teacher. This would cover their lunch for that day. This way it doesn’t have to come out of the PTA budget I’m allotted for this year. It’s costly to feed that many people and I’m afraid it would take half of my budget. We are all so busy this time of year, I thought it might be easier to send money.

Also, I have ordered the teacher’s gifts and they should arrive December 14th. I was hoping I could have some help wrapping them all. I have all the paper, bows, etc. The date I’m looking at is Sunday, December 16th, around 6 p.m.? If you could come over to my house and help wrap, it would be much appreciated.

If you send money for the teacher’s luncheon, please make the check payable to me: Cassie Kinnison, and put it in an envelope marked PTA Teacher Appreciation. The teacher’s will put it in the PTA box at the school. Cash is also welcome! This would be a huge help and I appreciate your thoughtfulness and generosity. If you think of someone else that isn’t on this email list, please let them know about the “Sponsor a Teacher” program.
